CHANA PRICES TURN LOWER IN SPOT MARKETS

Chana prices have made a lower start in the spot markets and Desi chana traded sharply lower at the Lawrence road market of Delhi on Monday.  NCDEX quality chana quoted at Rs 3,700-3,725, lower by Rs 50 a quintal on slow demand. Karnataka Annagiri chana remained stable at Rs 3,775-3,800 a quintal. MP line new chana quoted lower by Rs 50 at Rs 3,625-3,650 per quintal. Maharashtra line chapa variety godown chana offered at Rs 3,800-3,825 a quintal.
