CHANA PRICES SHOWS RECOVERY TREND

Chana prices have recovered on Wednesday from a series of decline and Rajasthan and MP line chana opened up Rs 25 a quintal on better demand at Lawrence Road market in Delhi. Rajasthan line chana was being quoted at Rs 3,350-3,375 a quintal. Karnataka Annagiri chana was offered at Rs 3,800-4,000 a quintal. MP line chana quoted at Rs 3,450-3,475 per quintal. Maharashtra line chapa variety godown chana offered at Rs 3,800-4,000 a quintal.

The spot prices of Akola mix were reported at Rs 3450 per quintal and Chapa quality were at Rs 3600 per quintal, up Rs 150 per quintal from the previous day. While the total daily arrivals were hovering at the levels of around 3 lakh bags in the entire major mandis against 2.80 lakh bags on last day.
